Security Compliance Manager
Remote/ Austin, TX, San Francisco, CA

At Qualia, we've built a new class of real estate technology that simplifies home buying and selling into an easy, understandable, and secure process. Our products bring together users from across the real estate ecosystem---homebuyers and sellers, lenders, title and escrow agents, and real estate agents---onto a single shared platform, providing greater clarity and transparency to real estate transactions. Today, millions of consumers use Qualia to close on homes every year.

Purchasing a home is often the largest financial transaction of our users' lives, and the Information Security team ensures that process is as secure as possible and compliant with regulatory, legal, and industry-standard frameworks. Our customers deserve to know that their data is in trustworthy hands, and this team works to communicate that fact while exceeding all obligations and expectations.

As a security compliance manager, you will work to build, manage, and mentor a team of security compliance analysts. You and your team will be responsible for shaping a practical and efficient Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program, and will collaborate with principals from within and without the business to implement and continuously improve it.

As a security compliance manager, you are an excellent leader, collaborator, and communicator. You enjoy being a mentor, encouraging your team to grow in their careers and skill sets. You have experience working with GRC programs, and have dealt with (and learned from) the consequences of your mistakes.
