WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

We're seeking out veteran post-closing managers to help launch Qualia's new post closing services division. Our flagship service will collect trailing documents on behalf of mortgage lenders. The Lender Post Closing Services Manager will serve as Qualia’s resident expert to help drive operational decisions early on. At first, this individual will work on the processing of files, to ensure that our systems are correctly set up. The Lender Post Closing Services Manager will serve the team’s in-house knowledge-hub, fully understanding all the components of the post closing service, and ensuring performance and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Package and deliver loans to our investors and lender clients
  • Scan and upload closing packages received from title companies into our clients’ internal systems
  • Ensure delivery of collateral to warehouse banks,
  • Perform detailed audits on closed loans prior to investor delivery to ensure that loan is in compliance with federal and state laws, as well as applicable investor and lender guidelines.
  • Assist with investor communication to satisfy all post-closing and post-purchase audit discrepancies.
  • Verify that requirements are met to ensure that loans are saleable
  • Monitor pipeline and turn times to ensure that services are delivered on time.
  • Ensure trailing documents are in compliance and delivered to the investor on time. Serve as an in-house resident expert on all things post-closing

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • 3-5 years of experience in the direct closing process
  • Post-closing experience either in a post-closing manager position OR experience in quality control/secondary review in a consumer mortgage environment
  • Strong understanding of agency underwriting guidelines
  • Experience communicating directly with investors on a daily basis
  • Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Perform well in team environments
  • The drive to build something new
  • Management experience a plus
