We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to help fuel Qualia's next phase of rapid growth. The People Operations Coordinator will work with Qualia's People Operations / Human Resources team to optimize day-do-day operations. The ideal candidate for this role is energized by helping people, has a solid understanding of basic business functions, demonstrates a track record of good judgment and discretion, and enjoys detail-oriented work. You'll assist across multiple areas of the HR function including onboarding new hires, maintaining HR systems, administering compensation and benefits programs, and coordinating engagement activities. This is an entry-level HR position with significant access to mentorship and career development.


  • Communicating with and scheduling new hires into onboarding programs
  • Entering and maintaining data for employee records
  • Assisting with coordination of Company Swag inventory
  • Collecting and processing data for compensation and benefits-related programs
  • Conducting research, under direction, for HR-related initiatives
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating employee information Google site
  • Assisting with employee-related compliance audits
  • Supporting facilities needs and requests as office management back-up


  • Recent or upcoming bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, psychology, or human resources management
  • Prior internship in HR, some HR coursework, or an HR-related degree is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of service, and high responsiveness to service inquiries
  • Understanding of and respect for the sensitivity of confidential information, and genuine respect for the contributions of many different types of personalities
  • Good Excel skills and ability to conduct data analysis and basic modeling
  • Strong evidence of successful detail orientation
  • Ability to learn and use new systems and tools quickly
  • Ability to stay organized and produce quality work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to conduct research, and summarize and present findings in a concise manner
