WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The Industry Relations Team is an entrepreneurial group focused on growing the company. We are responsible for building and managing strong industry partnerships and play a vital role in facilitating revenue growth alongside our partners and sales team. We are also adept at working across departments in the company, such as Customer Success, Marketing, Business Development, and Product.

As a California Industry Relations Consultant you will improve Qualia's brand awareness, advocacy, and ensure business expansion in your state/region. You will leverage your extensive industry experience, local expertise, relationships, and network to successfully generate new business opportunities, cultivate a community of Qualia advocates, and secure Qualia as the market leader in your state/region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, cultivate and own industry relationships with relevant influencers, partners, and associations to generate new business opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and drive revenue for Qualia.
  • Collaborate with sales to generate quality pipeline from named accounts through phone, email outreach, and successful execution of planned on-site/in-person meetings with prospective customers and partners.
  • Plan and execute programs, activities, and campaigns, including live events, to build a community of advocates, attract prospective customers, and boost brand awareness.
  • Drive alignment with sales, marketing, and product teams to maximize awareness of market opportunities and improve Qualia's presence and growth in assigned state/region.
  • Successfully meet assigned targets for profitable sales, pipeline generation, and strategic objectives in assigned state/regions
  • Manage and maintain accurate contacts, opportunities, and account information within salesforce.

  • You are a high-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates outstanding leadership skills, business ownership, and personal accountability.
  • You have a strong ability to prioritize work within a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in outside sales, business development, channel sales or partner role.
  • Demonstrated ability to control the sales process.
  • Professional communicator on any medium (e.g. presentations, meetings, phone calls, email, social media).
  • Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work as a team player in a team environment.
  • Tolerance for new situations and ambiguity.
  • Attention to detail & demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and align teams to work towards common goals.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of sales tools/CRM like Salesforce, Outreach, G-Suite.
  • 30-40% travel required (currently not traveling due to COVID19).
