WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will contribute to our billing process. You will be responsible for processing incoming payments, researching outstanding billing items, generating invoices for Strategic and High Growth accounts, assisting in providing reporting to accounting and finance teams, and processing approved refunds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconciling the billing status of accounts by researching and resolving any billing inconsistencies and errors
  • Analyze billing data for reporting
  • Review billing process and recommend improvements where possible
  • Create invoices and custom billing materials to be sent to a customer
  • Review customer payment plans regularly for timely payments, follow up where necessary
  • Flow concessions and refunds through the appropriate approval process as well as issue approved refunds
  • Assist in the resolution of failed charges and review payment disputes
  • Work with Finance to ensure proper period cut off for month end close procedures

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • Independent self-starter and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity, solve problems and think on your feet
  • A good command of Excel and Google Sheets

NICE TO HAVE

  • You have exposure to security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) with a solid understanding of how security and privacy risks affect a variety of data, applications, and infrastructure, and how those risks translate to third parties
  • Previous experience in FinTech or real estate technology
  • CISA, CISM, CPA or working toward to obtain industry certifications
